Caloocan City โ Police operatives in Caloocan City, under the leadership of PCOL Edcille V. Canals, Chief of Police, successfully served a warrant of arrest against a most wanted person, a 32-year-old male resident of Caloocan City, at around 12:30 AM on March 2, 2025. The arrest took place at the Custodial Facility of Hillcrest Police Sub-Station 8, located at Zamora Compound, Barangay 172, Caloocan City.
Personnel from Hillcrest Police Sub-Station 8, led by PCPT Gilmer A. Mariรฑas, Acting Commander, carried out the operation. The accused was apprehended based on a warrant issued by Hon. Rosalia I. Hipolito-Bunagan, Acting Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 123, Caloocan City, for violation of Section 3(A) of RA 7832 (Anti-Electric Transmission Lines/Materials Pilferage Act of 1994). Bail was set at Php120,000.
After the arrest, the accused was read his Miranda Rights, but he opted to remain silent. He remains detained at the Caloocan City Custodial Facility while the return of the warrant of arrest is being processed to notify the issuing court.
