Valenzuela City โ In a decisive operation, operatives of the Northern Police District (NPD) successfully apprehended alias “Malasique,” a 35-year-old male accused tagged as the No. 10 District and Station Top Ten Most Wanted Person (TTMWP) for March 2025.
The arrest took place at about 11:00 AM on March 1, 2025, at No. 2046 Samaca Compound, Sitio Malinis St., Barangay Bagbaguin, Valenzuela City. The suspect was later brought to the authorities at 11:30 AM on the same day.
Personnel from the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU), in coordination with the Regional Intelligence Unit โ RIU NCR, District Intelligence Division (DID-NPD), and Warrant Section of Valenzuela City Police Station (WSS-VCPS), served the warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Evangeline S. Mendoza-Francisco, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 270, Valenzuela City. The suspect faces charges for violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of the NCRPOโs AAA StrategyโAble, Active, and Alliedโa holistic approach to reducing crime and combating illegal activities. By enhancing police capabilities, conducting proactive operations, and strengthening community partnerships, the NCRPO, under the leadership of PBGEN Anthony A. Aberin, Acting Regional Director, continues to ensure a safer Metro Manila.
PCOL Josefino D. Ligan, Acting District Director of NPD, commended the operatives for their dedication to law enforcement and public safety, reinforcing the commitment of the police force in making communities safer.
The accused is currently detained at the Northern Police District-Custodial Facility Unit (NPD-CFU), Langaray Street, Kaunlaran Village, Barangay 14, Caloocan City, while the return of the warrant of arrest is being processed to notify the issuing court.
