Malabon City – In a successful warrant operation aligned with the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO), personnel of the Malabon City Police Station under the leadership of Police Colonel Jay B Baybayan Chief of Police, arrested a Top 10 Most Wanted Person (District Level) on May 10, 2025, at around 1:20 PM along C4 Road, Barangay Tañong, Malabon City.
The suspect, known by his alias “Bunso”, a 29-year-old male construction worker, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Statutory Rape issued by Hon. Catherine Therese M Tagle-Salvador, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 73, Malabon City, dated April 21, 2025. The court recommended bail was set at Php200,000.00.
During the operation, an Alternative Recording Device (ARD), specifically a Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, was used to document the lawful arrest and ensure transparency in police operations.
Following standard procedure, the suspect was brought to Ospital ng Malabon for medical examination and was then turned over to the Malabon CPS Custodial Facility for temporary detention, pending further court action.
