In a major breakthrough against criminality, operatives of the Caloocan City Police Station under the supervision of Police Colonel Paul Jady D Doles, Chief of Police, arrested a Most Wanted Person for the crime of murder in an early morning operation today, May 13, 2025.
At around 3:30 AM, police personnel from West Grace Park Police Sub-Station 3 successfully served a warrant of arrest along Doña Rita Street, Barangay 19, Caloocan City. The suspect, a 22-year-old male construction worker, was apprehended by virtue of a warrant issued by Hon. Manuel I.R.A. V. Barrios, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 126, Caloocan City, dated April 15, 2025, for a murder case under Criminal Case No. 128923.
During the arrest, and in line with lawful procedures, a search was conducted, leading to the recovery of one (1) improvised firearm, commonly known as a “pen gun,” loaded with live ammunition for caliber .38. The firearm was found under the suspect’s direct control and possession.
The operation was documented using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD) to ensure transparency during the operation.
Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) in relation to the Omnibus Election Code (BP 881) are being prepared through inquest proceedings. The return of the warrant will be submitted to the court of origin.
