Caloocan City – June 1, 2025 – Through relentless intelligence-driven operations, a Most Wanted Person alias “IPOT” was successfully arrested by personnel of the Caloocan City Police Station at around 11:25 AM, Sunday, June 1, 2025, in front of a convenience store along Panay Street, Barangay Pitogo, Makati City.
The suspect, a 35-year-old male and construction worker, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Frustrated Murder under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code. The warrant was issued by Hon. Ma. Rowena Violago Alejandria, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 121, Caloocan City, dated February 21, 2024, with a recommended bail of Php 200,000.00.
The manhunt operation was conducted by the Intelligence Section of Caloocan CPS, under the leadership of PCOL Paul Jady D Doles, Chief of Police in coordination with personnel from Revitalized Pulis Sa Barangay Team 5, Barangay 178, Caloocan City. The operation was documented using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD) – a HONOR X5 Plus mobile phone.
Upon arrest, theaccused was brought to Caloocan City Medical Center for medical and physical examination before being turned over to the Intelligence Section for documentation. He will subsequently be committed to the Custodial Facility Unit pending the issuance of a court commitment order.
This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of NCRPO’s AAA Strategy—Able, Active, and Allied—a holistic approach to reducing crime and combating illegal activities. Police Brigadier General Josefino D Ligan, District Director of the Northern Police District, lauded the Caloocan City Police Station for the swift and proper execution of the court order.
