VALENZUELA CITY — In a significant accomplishment against criminality, joint operatives from the Warrant and Subpoena Section and Station Intelligence Section of the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) under the leadership of Police Colonel Relly B Arnedo, OIC, VCPS, successfully apprehended the No. 2 Top Most Wanted Person (Station Level) on June 1, 2025, at Barangay Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City.

The operation, conducted at around 4:10 PM, led to the arrest of a 22-year-old male suspect, also known by the alias “Jeric”, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Statutory Rape as amended by R.A. 11648. The warrant was issued on May 23, 2025, by Hon. Mateo B Altarejos, Presiding Judge of the Family Court, Branch 16, Valenzuela City, with no bail recommended.

The accused was brought to Valenzuela Medical Center for the standard medical examination and was subsequently turned over to the Custodial Facility Unit of the station for proper disposition. The arrest was carried out under COPLAN Ric (TTMWP) and was documented with the use of Body-Worn Camera, ensuring transparency and compliance with standard operating procedures.

This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of NCRPO’s AAA Strategy—Able, Active, and Allied—a holistic approach to reducing crime and combating illegal activities. By enhancing police capabilities, conducting proactive operations, and building strong community partnerships, the NCRPO, under the leadership of Police Major General Anthony A Aberin, Regional Director, ensures sustained efforts to prevent crime and promote safer neighborhoods across Metro Manila.

Police Brigadier General Josefino D Ligan, District Director of the Northern Police District, lauded the Valenzuela City Police Station for their swift and proper execution of the court order, highlighting their commitment to justice and public safety.
