VALENZUELA CITY — A 40-year-old male accused, alias Jomer, was arrested by the operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) of Valenzuela City Police Station on the evening of June 16, 2025, by virtue of a warrant of arrest for multiple counts of Sexual Assault and Acts of Lasciviousness.
The accused, a resident of Barangay Maysan, Valenzuela City, was served a Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Evangeline S Mendoza, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 207, Valenzuela City, for the crimes of Sexual Assault under Article 266-A par. 2 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 5(b) of R.A. 7610 as amended by R.A. 11648 (2 counts), and Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the RPC in relation to the same law (1 count). The court recommended a total bail bond amounting to Php580,000.00.
The arrest took place at around 10:30 PM at Brgy. Maysan, Valenzuela City. During the implementation of the warrant, operatives utilized Body-Worn Camera (BWC), ensuring transparency and adherence to standard procedures.
Following the arrest, the suspect was brought to Valenzuela City Emergency Hospital for medical examination and was subsequently turned over to the Custodial Facility Unit of the station pending return of the warrant to the court of origin.
