Through the intensified manhunt operations of the Northern Police District – District Special Operations Unit (NPD-DSOU), an alias warrant of arrest for Statutory Rape was successfully served against a 39-year-old male suspect in Olongapo City on July 22, 2025.
The arrest took place at around 1:30 PM at the BJMP Regional Office III, Olongapo District Jail-MD, located at Camp Cabal, Rizal Street, Barangay Baretto, Olongapo City. The accused, wanted for violation of Article 266-A Paragraph 1 (D) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by RA 11648, is facing charges before the Family Court Branch in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. The warrant, issued on September 9, 2024 by Hon. Cefelene Raynon Goco, carries a No Bail recommendation.
The warrant was promptly served by the DSOU operatives, with all procedures documented using an Alternative Recording Device. At around 2:00 PM, the required documents were transmitted to the DSOU Office for proper disposition. The accused remains under the custody of the BJMP Olongapo District Jail, awaiting further court proceedings.
This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of the NCRPO’s AAA Strategy—Able, Active, and Allied—a holistic approach to reducing crime and apprehending wanted persons. By enhancing operational capabilities, conducting proactive law enforcement, and fostering community partnerships, the NCRPO, under the leadership of Police Major General Anthony A Aberin, remains committed to ensuring safer communities across Metro Manila.
