CALOOCAN CITY — In a successful law enforcement operation, personnel of the Warrant and Subpoena Section of Caloocan City Police Station arrested a male individual, tagged as the #3 Top Most Wanted Person at the District Level and #2 at the Station Level, for the crime of Murder under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code.
The operation transpired at about 7:10 PM on July 23, 2025, at Barangay 171, Caloocan City, leading to the arrest of the suspect, alias “Teofilo”, 45 years old, a cellphone technician and resident of the said barangay.
The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant issued by Hon. Rodolfo P. Azucena Jr., Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 125, Caloocan City, dated March 15, 2025. Notably, no bail was recommended.
During the apprehension, authorities utilized an Alternative Recording Device (ARD)—a POCO X4 Pro 5G, in strict adherence to the Rules on the Use of Body-Worn Cameras in the Execution of Warrants (A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC). After the arrest, the accused was brought to the Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) for medical and physical examination and was later turned over to the Investigation and Detective Management Section – Warrant and Subpoena Section (IDMS-WSS) for temporary detention and documentation for the return of the warrant.
