Caloocan City โ€“ In a successful implementation of a warrant of arrest, personnel from the Northern Police District (NPD) arrested a male suspect, identified by his alias โ€œSanto.โ€ He is ranked as the No. 9 Most Wanted Person (Station Level) for August 2025 for violating Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) under Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The arrest took place at around 12:30 AM on August 2, 2025, along Phase 4, Powerline, Bagong Silang, Barangay 176, Caloocan City. The information was officially relayed to the Station Tactical Operations Center (STOC) at about 12:43 AM on the same date.

The operation was led by personnel of the Warrant and Subpoena Section under the direct supervision of Police Colonel Joey T. Goforth, Officer-in-Charge of CCPS. The manhunt resulted in the successful arrest of โ€œSanto,โ€ a 35-year-old unemployed resident of Bagong Silang. The warrant was issued by Hon. Bernard R. Rosario, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 120, Caloocan City, dated June 27, 2025, with a recommended bail of Php 250,000.00.

To ensure transparency and compliance with legal procedures, the arrest was documented using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD) in accordance with A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC, or the Rules on the Use of Body-Worn Cameras in the Execution of Warrants.

Following the arrest, the suspect was brought to the Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) for a medical and physical examination. He is now under the custody of the Investigation and Detective Management Section – Warrant and Subpoena Section (IDMS-WSS) for temporary detention and the preparation of required documents for return to the issuing court.
