Caloocan City โ Caloocan City police operatives successfully arrested a Most Wanted Person (MWP) under the leadership of PCOL Edcille V. Canals, Chief of Police, in a manhunt operation under the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) on March 2, 2025.
Personnel of Camarin Police Sub-Station 10, led by PCPT Romel L. Caburog, served the alias warrant of arrest at around 1:40 PM at Champaca Street, Maligaya, Barangay 177, Camarin, Caloocan City. The accused, known as “Jhune,” 34 years old, male, resident of Caloocan City, was wanted for a case of rape under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code as amended by R.A. 8353 in relation to R.A. 8369. He was apprehended based on Criminal Case No. C-125590 issued by Hon. Ma. Teresa De Guzman Alvarez, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 131, Caloocan City. The court has recommended no bail for the case.
PCOL Josefino D. Ligan, Acting District Director of the Northern Police District, commended the Caloocan City Police Station for its dedication to tracking down wanted persons and ensuring that justice is served.

The arrested accused is now under police custody, and necessary documents are being prepared for the return of the warrant of arrest to the court of origin.
