Malabon City – A meticulous law enforcement operation culminated in the successful arrest of a Most Wanted Person (MWP) in Malabon City, bringing a dangerous fugitive to justice. On March 28, 2025, at approximately 6:55 PM, operatives of the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) of the Northern Police District (NPD) apprehended the suspect in front of Malabon City Square, along C4 Road, Dagat-dagatan Ave., Brgy. Longos, Malabon City.
The arrested individual, identified as a 39-year-old male tricycle driver known by the alias “Roque” and residing in Malabon City, was wanted for the crime of Frustrated Murder. The Warrant of Arrest was issued on the same day of the arrest, March 28, 2025, by Hon. Misael Madelo Ladaga, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 292, Malabon City. The court recommended a bail of Php 200,000.00.
To ensure transparency and accountability throughout the operation, an Alternative Recording Device (ARD) was utilized to document the service of the Warrant of Arrest. Following his apprehension, alias “Roque” was transported to the NPD Custodial Facility Unit (NPDCFU) in Caloocan City at approximately 7:50 PM, where he is currently detained. The necessary documentation is being prepared to formally notify the issuing court of the arrest and the suspect’s detention.
