NAVOTAS CITY — A man listed as the No. 4 District Top Ten Most Wanted Person (TTMWP) of the Northern Police District (NPD) and No. 6 Station TTMWP of the Navotas City Police Station was arrested on May 2, 2025, at around 10:00 PM in Brgy. Tangos North, Navotas City.

Operatives from the District Special Operation Unit (DSOU), together with the Warrant Section of the Navotas CPS and NDIT RIU-NCR, served a warrant of arrest at No. 21 F. Cruz St., Tangos North. The operation was conducted in line with the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO).

The accused wanted for the crime of Rape under Article 266-A (1) of the Revised Penal Code. The warrant was issued by Hon. Cecilia Bunagan Parallag, Presiding Judge of Family Court Branch 9, Navotas City, dated February 12, 2025. The court recommended no bail for the said offense.

During the arrest, the operatives utilized an alternative recording device (ARD) to document the procedure. The accused was properly informed of the nature of the arrest and his constitutional rights in Tagalog, which he understood, but chose to remain silent.

Following the arrest, the accused was brought to the Navotas Center for medical and physical examination. He was later turned over to the Northern Police District-Custodial Facility Unit (NPDCFU) for temporary detention, pending the return of the warrant of arrest to the court.
