Caloocan City – At around 12:45 PM of May 16, 2025, joint elements of the Intelligence Section of the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), Northern Police District (NPD), under the leadership of Police Colonel Renante F Pinuela, Force Commander, successfully arrested a 62-year-old male construction worker, wanted for the heinous crime of Rape, during a manhunt operation conducted at Blk 1 Lot 14 Mahogany Street, Natividad, Phase 4, Brgy. 168, Caloocan City.
The accused, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Rape issued by Hon. Raymundo G. Vallega, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 130 (Family Court), Caloocan City, dated November 4, 2022. The court recommended no bail for the accused, signifying the gravity of the offense.
An Alternative Recording Device (ARD), an iPhone 11 Pro, was utilized throughout the operation in compliance with operational protocols.
The suspect was immediately brought to the Caloocan City Medical Center (CCMC) for the required medical and physical examination and was then turned over to the Northern Police District Custodial Facility Unit (NPDCFU) for temporary detention, pending the preparation of documents for the return of the warrant to the court of origin.
