Malabon City – In another successful police operation, operatives of the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) of the Northern Police District (NPD) arrested a most wanted person in Malabon City on March 28, 2025.

At approximately 5:30 PM, law enforcement officers apprehended a 27-year-old male construction worker at his residence in Brgy. Longos, Malabon City. The accused was wanted for Statutory Rape under Paragraph 1D, Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code (RPC), as amended by Republic Act 8353, in relation to Section 5(A) of Republic Act 8369. The Warrant of Arrest, issued by Hon. Monica Cecilia F. Almeda-De Mata, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 72, Antipolo City, Rizal, was served with no bail recommended.

The operation was executed using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD) to ensure transparency and accountability. Following the arrest, the accused was taken into custody at the Northern Police District Custodial Facility Unit (NPDCFU) in Caloocan City. Authorities are preparing the return of the warrant to notify the issuing court of its execution.
