In a decisive operation affirming its relentless campaign against criminality, the Northern Police District (NPD), through the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU), arrested a high-value target identified as a Top 4 Most Wanted Person (Regional Level), Top 3 Most Wanted Person (District Level), and Top 2 Most Wanted under the Malabon City Police Station (MCPS) for May 2025. The suspect, a 32-year-old male, was apprehended in a joint manhunt operation conducted by Northern Police District – District Special Operation Unit (NPD-DSOU), the Northern District Intelligence Team of the Regional Intelligence Unit (NDIT-RIU), and the Women and Children Protection Section of MCPS at around 7:45 PM on May 3, 2025, along Dalagang Bukid Street, Barangay Longos, Malabon City.
The arrest was made by virtue of a warrant issued by Hon. Abigail Santos Domingo-Laylo, Presiding Judge of Family Court Branch 4, Malabon City, dated November 3, 2022. The suspect faces multiple charges including Statutory Rape with no bail recommended; Sexual Assault with a recommended bail of Php 200,000.00; and Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to R.A. 7610 as amended by R.A. 11648 with a recommended bail of Php 180,000.00.
After his arrest, the accused was brought to the Ospital ng Malabon for the required medical and physical examination. He was later turned over to the DSOU office for further investigation and temporarily detained at the Northern Police District Custodial Facility Unit while processing the return of the warrant to the court of origin.
