In a proactive move to protect the youth and uphold peace and order, the Northern Police District (NPD), in partnership with the City Government of Valenzuela, rolled out the “NPD: Bawal ang Street Gangs sa Valenzuela!” campaign on July 16, 2025, at Gen. T. de Leon National High School, Valenzuela City.
The activity was spearheaded by Mayor Weslie T. Gatchalian and PBGEN Jerry V. Protacio, Acting District Director of NPD, both taking a firm stand against the threat of street gang influence in the community.
Addressing students, teachers, barangay officials, and members of the community, Mayor Gatchalian emphasized Valenzuela City’s firm stance against street gang violence and its harmful impact on the youth. Meanwhile, PBGEN Protacio assured the public of the NPD’s strengthened anti-gang operations, alongside programs aimed at youth guidance and community partnership.
The event served as a powerful reminder that a safe and peaceful Valenzuela is a shared responsibility — with one united voice declaring: “Bawal ang Street Gangs sa Valenzuela!”
