Operatives of the District Anti-Carnapping Unit (DACU) of the Northern Police District (NPD) successfully served a warrant of arrest against one of the most wanted persons (MWP) inside the Caloocan City Jail at around 8:50 AM today, April 25, 2025.
The accused, already detained at the said facility, was served for warrant of arrest for Statutory Rape under Paragraph 1 of Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act 11648. The warrant of arrest was issued on October 4, 2024, by Judge Glenda Cabello Maris of Branch 124, Regional Trial Court, Caloocan City. No bail was recommended.
During the service of the warrant, the accused was informed of the nature of the charges and his constitutional rights in a language he understood. He chose to remain silent. The operation was properly documented using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD)
The Return of Warrant of Arrest is being prepared and will be submitted to the court to confirm the successful service.

Police Brigadier General Josefino D Ligan, District Director of NPD, commended the District Anti-Carnapping Unit for their diligence and coordination in executing the court order.
The NPD remains committed to ensuring that justice is served and that wanted persons are held accountable, wherever they may be.
