At around 10:00 AM today, April 25, 2025, operatives of the Northern Police District’s District Investigation and Detective Management Division (DIDMD) successfully served a warrant of arrest inside the Caloocan City Jail located at Talimusak corner Tanigue Street, Kaunlaran Village, Barangay 18, Caloocan City.

The warrant was issued by Hon. Rosalia I. Hipolito-Bunagan, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 232, Caloocan City, for violation of the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunitions (Section 28(a) of RA 10591), with a recommended bail of Php 120,000.00.

The operation was carried out NPD DIDMD Tracker, under the direct supervision of Police Colonel Allan B Umipig, Chief, DIDMD. The accused was properly informed of the nature and cause of the arrest and apprised of his constitutional rights in a language known to him. The use of an Alternative Recording Device (ARD), ensured transparency throughout the operation.

Prior to his arrest, the accused had previously been facing the same offense with different criminal case number.

Police Brigadier General Josefino D Ligan, District Director of Northern Police District, commended the DIDMD team for their dedication and commitment to justice and public safety.

The return of the warrant is currently being processed and will be submmited to the court to confirm its successful service.
