Caloocan City – Law enforcers from the Congressional Police Sub-Station 9 of the Caloocan City Police Station under the leadership of Police Colonel Paul Jady D Doles, Chief of Police, successfully arrested a 43-year-old male suspect, during the implementation of a search warrant at around 8:00 AM today in Northville 2B, Brgy. 171, Caloocan City. The operation stemmed from a violation of Section 28 of Republic Act No. 10591, also known as the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
With Barangay and media representatives serving as witnesses, authorities executed Search Warrant, issued by Hon. Rosalia I. Hipolito-Bunagan, 2nd Vice Executive Judge of RTC Branch 232, Caloocan City.
Seized during the operation was one (1) Caliber .38 revolver without a serial number and two (2) live ammunitions, found hidden under a pillow on the upper deck bed inside the suspect’s residence. The entire operation was properly documented using a body-worn camera and two other alternate mobile recording devices, in full compliance with A.M No. 21-06-08-SC PNP.
The arrested individual, a construction worker residing at the said address, is currently under police custody.
