Caloocan City – May 1, 2025 – A 34-year-old male electrician was arrested by operatives of the Caloocan City Police Station during a manhunt operation conducted at around 11:15 AM today, May 1, 2025, along Malaria Road, Barangay 185, Caloocan City.

The operation was led by personnel from Substation 14 of the Caloocan City Police Station under the leadership of Police Colonel Paul Jady D Doles, Chief of Police. It resulted in the successful apprehension of the suspect by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs). The warrant was issued by Hon. Rodrigo Flores Pascua Jr., Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 122, Caloocan City, on August 1, 2023, with a recommended bail of Php 200,000.00.

To ensure transparency and compliance with legal procedures, an Alternative Recording Device Huawei P40 Pro, was used during the execution of the arrest, in adherence to the Rules on the Use of Body-Worn Cameras in the Execution of Warrants.

The arrested accused, a resident of Ilang-Ilang Street, Malaria, Barangay 185, Caloocan City, is currently under police custody and will undergo physical examination at Tala Hospital. Pertinent documentation is also being processed prior to the return of the warrant to the issuing court.
