In a decisive operation led by the Warrant and Subpoena Section of Valenzuela City Police Station, one of the city’s Most Wanted Persons was successfully arrested for the crime of Homicide (Article 249 of the Revised Penal Code).
The accused, a 40-year-old male resident at Barangay Malinta, Valenzuela City, was apprehended at approximately 10:40 PM on July 18, 2025. The operation was conducted by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest, issued by Hon. Elena A. Amigo-Amano, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 282, Valenzuela City, for the Service of Sentence.
During the implementation of the warrant, Body-Worn Camera was utilized in strict adherence to PNP policies on transparency and accountability.
Following standard procedure, the accused was brought to the Valenzuela City Health Department for medical examination and was subsequently turned over to the Custodial Facility Unit of Valenzuela CPS pending the return of the warrant to the issuing court.
This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of the NCRPO’s AAA Strategy—Able, Active, and Allied—a holistic approach to reducing crime and apprehending wanted persons. By strengthening operational capabilities, conducting proactive police work, and building solid community partnerships, the NCRPO, under the leadership of Police Major General Anthony A Aberin, continues to provide safer communities across Metro Manila.
Police Brigadier General Jerry V Protacio, Acting District Director of the Northern Police District, commended the operating teams for their swift and decisive action, which led to the successful arrest of one of the area’s most wanted fugitives.
“This arrest is a testament to our unwavering commitment to justice, public safety, and the rule of law. We will not stop until every wanted criminal is held accountable,” PBGEN Protacio said.
