Malabon City – On July 9, 2025, at around 4:10 PM, joint operatives of the Malabon City Police Station Warrant and Subpoena Section successfully arrested a 20-year-old male, alias “Douglas”, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Section 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Possession of Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus & Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs).

The arrest took place at Barangay Tonsuya, Malabon City, and was conducted based on a warrant issued by Honorable Allison Magcawas Samonte, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 127 in Caloocan City, dated July 4, 2025, for Service of Sentence. The operation was properly documented using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD), specifically a Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G.

Following standard procedure, the accused was brought to the Ospital ng Malabon for medical examination and subsequently turned over to the Malabon CPS Custodial Facility for temporary confinement while awaiting the court’s commitment order.

This accomplishment highlights the effective implementation of the NCRPO’s AAA Strategy—Able, Active, and Allied—a holistic crime-fighting approach focused on enhancing police skills, proactive law enforcement, and strong community partnerships under the leadership of Police Major General Anthony A Aberin, Regional Director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).

PBGEN Arnold E Abad, Acting District Director of the Northern Police District, lauded the swift and decisive action of the personnel involved, stating: “The relentless efforts of our personnel in tracking and apprehending high-value targets demonstrate our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our communities. This arrest is a clear message that justice will prevail.”
