Valenzuela City — A 41-year-old male accused wanted for multiple sexual offenses, including statutory rape and acts of lasciviousness, was arrested during a manhunt operation conducted at around 7:10 PM on June 17, 2025, at Barangay Malinta, Valenzuela City.
The accused, identified by the aliases “Rambo” and “Daddy,” was apprehended by operatives of the Intelligence Section of the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) led by PCPT Ferdinand A Orbeta. The accused, a single Filipino male from Bacolod and currently residing in Valenzuela, works as a lumber cutter and is a high school undergraduate.
The arrest was carried out by virtue of a warrant issued by Hon. Mateo B Altarejos, Presiding Judge of the Family Court Branch 16, Valenzuela City. The accused is facing serious charges including one count of Statutory Rape under Article 266-A Paragraph (D) of the Revised Penal Code (RPC) in relation to Section 5 (B) of RA 7610 as amended by RA 11648, with no bail recommended; two counts of Sexual Assault under Article 266-A (2) of the RPC with a bail of PHP 200,000.00 per count; one count of Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the RPC with bail set at PHP 180,000.00; and four counts of Violation of Section 10 (A) of RA 7610 with bail set at PHP 80,000.00 per count.
An Alternative Recording Device, specifically an iPhone 11 Pro, was used to document the operation in compliance with legal protocols. Following his arrest, the suspect was brought to the City Coordinating Medical Center (CCMC) for the required medical and physical examination before being turned over to this office for documentation and subsequently to the Northern Police District’s Child and Family Unit (NPDCFU) for temporary detention.
Police Brigadier General Josefino D Ligan, District Director of the Northern Police District (NPD), commended the District Mobile Force Battalion operatives for their swift and coordinated action in the lawful execution of the court-issued warrant. He emphasized that such decisive actions affirm the NPD’s unwavering commitment to justice and protection of vulnerable members of the community.
