In a significant accomplishment against wanted person, joint operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section of Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) and the CIDG Northern Leyte Provincial Field Unit successfully arrested one (1) male suspect identified as “DACZ,” ranked as No. 10 Top Most Wanted Person (Station Level – VCPS) and a known member of a Robbery Gang, at around 8:10 PM on July 16, 2025, in Barangay Naval, Hilongos, Leyte.
The operation stemmed from a warrant of arrest issued against the suspect for Violation of Section 5 Paragraph 1 and Section 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, issued by Hon. Lilia Mercedes Encarnacion Aquino Gepty, Pairing Judge, RTC Branch 171, Valenzuela City on June 4, 2025.
The team utilized Body-Worn Camera (BWC) during the arrest in compliance with PNP operational protocols. The accused underwent a medical examination at the Ormoc City Health Unit and is currently under the custody of VCPS personnel for transport and eventual return of the warrant to the issuing court.
This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of NCRPO’s AAA Strategy—Able, Active, and Allied—a holistic approach to reducing crime and apprehending wanted individuals. By enhancing operational capabilities, intensifying proactive law enforcement, and building stronger community alliances, NCRPO under the leadership of Police Major General Anthony A Aberin continues to deliver on its mission to ensure safer communities throughout Metro Manila.
Police Brigadier General Jerry V Protacio, Acting District Director of the Northern Police District, lauded the coordination and swift execution of the arrest, stating:
