Northern Police District (NPD) operatives scored another significant accomplishment following the successful arrest of one of the Most Wanted Persons at the station level of the Malabon City Police Station (MCPS).
Alias “Nono,” a 36-year-old male and listed as No. 8 in the Top Ten Most Wanted Persons (TTMWP) of MCPS for June 2023, was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Statutory Rape under Section 266-A of the Revised Penal Code in relation to RA 7610.
The operation took place at around 4:30 PM on July 15, 2025, along San Jose Del Monte-Norzagaray Road, Norzagaray, Bulacan. At around 6:30 PM of the same day, the suspect was turned over to the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU). The warrant, issued by Hon. Abigail Santos Domingo-Laylo, Presiding Judge of the Family Court, RTC Branch 5, Malabon City, carried no bail recommendation.
The arrest was a result of a joint operation conducted by the DSOU and the Northern District Intelligence Team – Regional Intelligence Unit (NDIT-RIU). An Alternative Record Device (ARD) was used during the implementation of the warrant.
The accused is now under the custody of the Northern Police District Custodial Facility Unit (NPDCFU) at Langaray Street, Kaunlaran Village, Brgy. 14, Caloocan City. Preparation for the return of the warrant is underway to notify the court of its successful service.

Police Brigadier General Jerry V Protacio, Acting District Director of the Northern Police District, lauded the efforts of the operating units for their swift and decisive action. “This arrest demonstrates our commitment to bringing justice to victims and holding criminals accountable, no matter how long it takes or where they try to hide,” he said.
