Navotas City – In a continuing effort to rid Metro Manila of crime and ensure the arrest of wanted individuals, operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) and Station Intelligence Section (SIS) of Navotas City Police Station (NCPS), under the leadership of PCOL Renante F Pinuela, Officer-in-Charge, successfully served a Bench Warrant of Arrest against a 40-year-old male suspect tagged as a Most Wanted Person (MWP).
The service of the warrant was conducted on July 10, 2025, at around 6:10 PM, at Custodial Facility Unit of NCPS located at M. Naval Street, Barangay Sipac-Almacen, Navotas City. The suspect, a resident of Barangay Tangos South, Navotas City, is facing charges for Violation of Section 12, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). The Bench Warrant was issued by Hon. Jimmy Edmund G. Batara, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 72, Malabon City, dated March 23, 2015, with no bail recommended.
The implementation of the Warrant of Arrest was properly documented using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD), specifically a REDMI 10 4G model, in adherence to PNP operational protocols. The return of the warrant is now being finalized for immediate submission to the court of origin. The accused remains in the custody of the NCPS Custodial Facility Unit.
This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of NCRPO’s AAA Strategy—Able, Active, and Allied—a holistic approach to reducing crime and tracking down Wanted Persons. Through the enhancement of police capabilities, the conduct of intelligence-driven and proactive operations, and the strengthening of community partnerships, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), under the leadership of Police Major General Anthony A Aberin, continues to implement dynamic and effective measures for public safety across Metro Manila.
Police Brigadier General Arnold E Abad, Acting District Director of the Northern Police District (NPD), lauded the Navotas City Police Station for their swift and precise execution of the law, further reflecting the unwavering commitment of the police force to uphold justice and maintain peace and order.
