Caloocan City – In a decisive law enforcement operation, operatives of the District Anti-Carnapping Unit (DACU) of the Northern Police District (NPD) successfully served a Warrant of Arrest against one of the Most Wanted Persons (MWP) for the crime of Frustrated Murder.
At around 3:50 PM on July 14, 2025, lawmen served the warrant to a 36-year-old male suspect, known by the alias “Harold”, inside the BJMP Caloocan City Jail, located along Talimusak Street, Kaunlaran Village, Caloocan City. The warrant, bearing, was issued by Presiding Judge Remigio M. Escalada Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 123, Caloocan City, dated June 26, 2018, with a recommended bail of Php 200,000.00.
The accused, a resident of Tala, Caloocan City, was properly informed of the nature of his case and his Constitutional Rights in a language he understood. He chose to remain silent. The entire operation was documented using an Alternative Recording Device (ARD). Return of the served warrant is currently being prepared for submission to the issuing court.

Police Brigadier General Jerry V Protacio, Acting District Director of the Northern Police District, commended the operating teams for their swift and decisive action, which led to the arrest of one of the most wanted individuals in the area.
