Navotas City — a man listed as Most Wanted Person (MWP) for the crime of Rape in relation to R.A. 7610 was arrested during the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) conducted by the Navotas City Police Station on May 16, 2025.
At around 5:15 PM, operatives from the Intelligence Section, under the leadership of PCOL Mario C Cortes, successfully served a warrant of arrest at Yangco Street, Barangay Navotas East, Navotas City. The operation led to the arrest of a 35-year-old male accused who has been facing a non-bailable charge for Rape in relation to R.A. 7610. The warrant was issued by Hon. Emmanuel D. Laurea, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 169, Malabon City, dated December 8, 2008.
An alternative recording device (ARD) was used during the arrest to ensure transparency in the police operation.
The arrested accused is now under custody pending the return of the warrant to the issuing court.
