A man was arrested at around 11:30PM on April 16, 2025, for causing public disturbance while under the influence of liquor and carrying an unlicensed firearm in Sta. Rita North, Brgy. 188, Caloocan City.

The suspect, a 31 years old, resident of Caloocan City, was caught shouting profanities and challenging bystanders to a fight. Acting on a call from the suspect’s live-in partner, personnel of Tala Sub-Station 14, under the supervision of PCOL Paul Jady D. Doles, Chief of Police, swiftly responded and arrested the suspect. A caliber .38 revolver with two live rounds was seized from him.

He is facing charges for violations of Article 155 (Alarms and Scandals) of the Revised Penal Code, Republic Act 10591, and Batas Pambansa Blg. 881, in relation to the ongoing Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO).

This accomplishment highlights the effectiveness of the NCRPO’s AAA Strategy—Able, Active, and Allied—a comprehensive approach to combating crime, particularly the proliferation of illegal firearms, by upgrading police capabilities, conducting intensified operations, and fostering strong community collaboration. This initiative is being successfully implemented under the leadership of Police Major General Anthony A. Aberin, Regional Director of NCRPO.

Police Brigadier General Josefino D. Ligan, District Director of the Northern Police District, commended the Caloocan City Police Station for their unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety and security of the community through sustained efforts against the illegal possession of firearms.
