On May 31, 2025, 5:30 AM – A total of 50 grams of suspected shabu worth around Php 340,000.00 was seized during a successful anti-drug operation conducted along Madamba Street, Brgy. Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City. Two drug suspects alias Jo 34-year-old, male, and alias Bansot 53-year-old, male, both resident of Valenzuela City, were arrested during the buy-bust.
The operation was carried out by the Northern Police District – District Drug Enforcement Unit (NPD-DDEU) under the supervision of PCPT Regie B. Pobadora, OIC, DDEU, in coordination with the Valenzuela City Police Station Sub-Station 2, with proper PDEA Coordination.
Marked money and around 50 grams of suspected shabu were recovered at the scene. The items were labeled and documented in accordance with standard procedures.
A formal complaint for violation of Section 5 in relation to Section 26, and Section 11 of Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed before the City Prosecutor’s Office.
