Navotas City — A successful buy-bust operation carried out by the Navotas City Police Station led to the confiscation of 10.4 grams of suspected shabu worth Php 70,720.00 along Badeo 5, Barangay San Roque, Navotas City, around 11:22 PM on April 26, 2025.

The anti-drug operation, conducted by SDEU personnel under the leadership of Police Colonel Mario C Cortes, was properly coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). Confiscated during the operation were three sachets of suspected shabu, a dark blue coin purse, marked buy-bust money, and additional recovered cash.

The arrested individual now faces charges for violating Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002). A formal complaint will be filed for inquest proceedings before the City Prosecutor’s Office.

This accomplishment underscores the effectiveness of NCRPO’s AAA Strategy—Able, Active, and Allied—a holistic approach to reducing crime and combating illegal drug activities. Police Brigadier General Josefino D Ligan, District Director of the Northern Police District (NPD), commended the Navotas City Police Station for their dedication and swift action that led to this successful operation. He emphasized the continuous commitment of NPD to safeguard the community against illegal drugs and criminality.
