A Seminar on Men Opposed to Violence Against Women Everywhere (MOVE) was successfully conducted earlier this morning at the NPD Conference Room, Tanigue St., corner Dagat-Dagatan Avenue, Caloocan City.
The activity was led by the Deputy District Director for Administration, PCOL AMANTE B DARO, under the supervision of the District Director, NPD, PBGEN JOSEFINO D LIGAN.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness among NPD personnel about the important role of men in preventing violence against women. It also encouraged police officers to become advocates for respect, equality, and safety, not only in their workplaces but also inside their own homes and communities they serve.
This is part of the NPD’s continuous efforts to promote gender sensitivity and to strengthen the campaign to end violence against women.
